I’m a huge fan of online shopping, but once in a while, I do like being able to visit a physical store to browse and see the items for myself. I bought Noah some clothes from PriviKids’ online store a while ago, and Cheryl (the mumpreneur behind PriviKids) helped me to get the right sizes for him. I loved the material of the clothes, and even dressed Noah in one of the shirts for his 2nd birthday celebration.
I thought the shirt was really adorable, making him look grown-up, without the fuss of actually having to put a tie on him!

PriviKids has since set up their own physical store at Changi City Point, and I decided to go shopping there with Mummy Lynn and her daughter, Faith. The kids are friends after being in the same playgroup for some time, so they were able to play well with each other, while their mummies shopped.

Everything in the store was so adorable! Even though my initial objective was to just get some clothes for Noah, in preparation for Chinese New Year, I spent a long time gushing over the cute clocks, the pretty clothes, the unique accessories, the cuddly toys… you get the idea. I had a really tough time trying to decide what to get, and finally settled on two long-sleeved shirts, and a tee. The material used for the shirts is not too thick for our humid weather, and I plan to fold the sleeves up for Noah anyway, so that he won’t get them dirty when he eats. It’s so nice to be able to find good quality clothes, at affordable prices!

What I bought
There’s an ongoing “Buy 4 Get 1 Free” promotion which is a REALLY good deal, as well as a Discount Rack, with many excellent bargains available. Mummy Lynn and I pooled our purchases together so that we could take advantage of the promotion, so do try to go down to the shop with another shopping buddy. Actually, you’ll probably be able to find more than 5 items on your own, but we were trying to exercise a little restraint. I was so tempted to buy some dresses as gifts, but didn’t get any in the end, because I was overwhelmed by the options. Such a poor excuse, I know. I’m definitely going to have to make another trip down to PriviKids soon, as they bring in new items every fortnight, and I’ve spied more items on the PriviKids website, which I’m keen on.

We also received some complimentary Dottinghill temporary tattoos, and a small bottle of Pure Beginnings organic insect repellant, both of which look really interesting, but I haven’t been able to try them yet.
