C: Wah, I’m so tired.
Me: What? Why?
C: I didn’t sleep much last night. / I couldn’t sleep at all just now.
Me: Don’t bluff! You were snoring away last night / just now when you were taking your nap!
C: Just because I’m snoring doesn’t mean I’m sleeping.
Me: What rubbish! How’s that possible?
C: Really! I wasn’t sleeping at all. I was tossing and turning the whole time. You wouldn’t know because you were fast asleep.
Me: Again, how’s that possible? Whenever I got up to nurse Noah, you were sound asleep and snoring.
C: I told you already… Snoring doesn’t equal sleeping.
Me: I give up…
